Bhoja Air Crash: Inquiry commission summons Farooq Bhoja, DG CAA

ISLAMABAD: An inquiry commission has kicked off the investigation of Bhoja Air Crash that claimed 127 lives in April last year – ARY News reports.

According to sources, the inquiry commission headed by Justice (R) Ghulam Rabbani has directed the owner of Bhoja Airline and Director General (DG) Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to appear before the court on January 13.

It should also be mentioned here that on 20th April 2012, Boeing 737-236 aircraft of Bhoja Airline flying from Jinnah International Airport, Karachi, crashed in bad weather during its approach to Benazir Bhutto International Airport, Islamabad.

All 121 passengers and 6 crew members aboard were killed in the crash.
