Bilawal condemns Charsadda attack, MQM announces three days of mourning

According to a press release issued by the Media Cell of Bilawal House:-

“Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party has strongly condemned terrorists attack on Bacha Khan University in Charsadda and loss of innocent lives of faculty and students there.In a press statement issued here, PPP Chairman said that the way the terrorists are striking shows that their backbone has not been broken as we have been hearing from PMLN government and stressed for stronger action against terrorists.”

He expressed sympathies with those who lost their loved ones in the coward terrorist attack,” the statement read.

MQM condemned the attack on their website and announced a three-day mourning period.

Acting Convener of MQM Co-ordination Committee Nadeem Nusrat has expressed his grief and sorrow on the attack on Bacha Khan University in Charsadda. He also announced the MQM’s support to the three days of mourning.

“Mr Nusrat said the Charsadda tragedy had revived the grief of the Army Public School. “The nation had hoped that the lessons learnt from APS tragedy would be helpful in warding off such incidents in future. They had hoped that the National Action Plan formed after the APS tragedy would be implemented in its true spirit but the Charsadda tragedy is a stark reminder that the National Action Plan was not being executed properly,” read a post on their website.

“Mr Nusrat said it was time to take action against jet black terrorists under the National Action Plan. He warned that action would have to be taken against centres of terrorism in Punjab as well otherwise such tragedies would continue to recur.”

“He expressed sympathies to the families of the victims and prayed Almighty Allah to bless the souls of the people who lost their lives in the Bach Khan University attack. He also prayed Allah to give patience to the grieving families.”
