Bilawal directs PPP parliamentarians to donate 1-month salary to IDPs

KARACHI: Chairman of Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has advised parliamentary members of PPP to donate one-month salary to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) of North Waziristan, ARY News reported.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has also constituted a committee to be headed by Opposition Leader Khurshid Shah to review the procedure of aid and support for IDPs. He said all possible help for the relief and rehabilitation of the IDPs should be done in this hour of difficulty.

Chief of Staff to PPP Chairman Hasham Riaz Sheikh issued an official notification in this regard today.

According to sources the committee members include Khanzada Khan, Manzoor Wattoo, Sadiq Umrani, Zamrud Khan, Dr. Sikandar Mandharo, Senator Usman Saifullah Khan, Senator Rubina Khalid, Nawazish Pirzada.

Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, on the other hand, has announced to give Rs. 50 million to Khyber PakhtunKhwa for the help IDPs.
