He said that if this voice was not heard in Parliament then the country would reverberate with echoes of “Dum a dum Mast Qalander”.

He said that the provinces were being weakened and the National Action Plan was not being implemented. Mr Bhutto said that the government was trying to sell Pakistan Steel Mills and PIA and that this was not being done in a transparent manner. He’s said that if public sector organisations were going to be privatised then the PPP would organise protests against it. He said important national decisions were being done behind closed doors and that this was not good for the country.

Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah also spoke and said that Interior Minister Ch Nisar was trying to wrest control of Sindh province. He said in a democracy no one person had the authority or peer to a take a decision.

Senator Aitzaz Ahsan also spoke and said that the Ranger should also investigate the record of the Lahore Development Authority.

Former Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf and former interior minister Rahman Malik also spoke.
