Bilawal terms non resolution of Kashmir issue as UN failure

KARACHI: “We only have two options either to emerge as peaceful, prosperous and progressive country or to become a threat for the world by appearing as a fascist state, said Patron-in-Chief of Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Sunday.

Addressing students’ ceremony in the Sindh Assembly today, Bilawal Bhutto complained about the double standard of United Nations for Pakistan and India.

“On June 6, 1986 UN imposed nuclear technology restrictions on Pakistan and India both but now it easing those restrictions one by one only for India”, he said.

Speaking about Kashmir issue, PPP Chief said people of Kashmir has been waiting to have right to self-determination for last sixty eight years.

Bilawal Bhutto said that non resolution of Kashmir issue is the evidence of failure of United Nations. He urged the world body to get its resolutions on Kashmir implemented.

He asked world community to listen to the voice of people of Pakistan adding that world would be a peaceful place today, if the ideology of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto was observed in the past.
