According to a source which spoke to a leading Indian website, the Bollywood actress is managing everything herself, from the petty details to everything important.
“She wants everything in the wedding to be a surprise, even for Karan. Bipasha is personally taking care of every minute detail of the main function. Her parents (who flew down from Kolkata just a few days ago) are helping her with the arrangements,” said a source.
The actress’ Mehendi and Sangeet ceremonies will be held on the same day on April 29 at a suburban lounge while the next day, on the day of her wedding, a haldi ceremony will take place in the morning. The actress will tie the knot at a five star hotel in South Mumbai with all the necessary Bengali rituals. It is expected to be a low-key and private affair.
The source also revealed that the two Bollywood stars will not host a reception. “They will instead be having a low-key party on the night of the wedding. It will be an intimate get-together with the couple’s closest friends coming down to make their big day special,” he said.
Bipasha Basu is 37 years-old while Karan Singh Grover is 34. Bipasha Basu’s previous lovers John Abraham, Harman Harman Baweja and Dino Morea were all Bollywood actors. Meanwhile, this is set to be Karan’s third marriage since he has been married previously to Jennifer Winget and Shraddha Nigam.
