PESHAWAR: At least four people were killed and 10 injured in a suicide blast near Parda Bagh in Peshawar, ARY News reported Sunday.
SSP operations said the attacker entered the area disguised as internally displaced person and exploded himself. He said the potential target of the suicide bomber was IDPs camp. The attacker was aged between 20 and 22, he added.
According to one of the eye-witnesses, the registration of IDPs was underway at a nearby stadium when attack took place.
The blast ripped through an area outside the Parda Bagh in Faqirabad locality of the city.
Rescue teams and police reached for the spot and helped shifting the injured to Lady Reading Hospital.
Rescue sources said some of the injured were in critical condition.
