KARACHI: A massive explosion inside the office of a private courier company rocked the Gulshan e Iqbal area of Karachi in the evening on Tuesday, when the office was closed – ARY News reports.
According to police, the explosion took place when the office was closed and the explosive material was placed in a box inside the office.
It was further reported that the blast damaged the exterior of the office including the shutter, after which Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) team was called in to check out the site for another explosive device possibly placed there.
A few months earlier, a blast had also occurred in Gurumandar office of the same courier company.
Officials told that both the incidents are being investigated, however it is too early to point out the motives of these blasts.
