KARACHI: An explosion inside the office of a private courier company located near Guru Mandar, rocked the vicinity late on Wednesday night, however no loss of life or property was reported consequently – ARY News reports.
According to details, police and rescue teams rushed to the spot, however no loss of life or property was reported as a result of blast. Police sources told that the office of the courier company was closed when the explosion took place.
Meanwhile, Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) was called in and it is inspecting the site of the blast.
Our correspondent, Salman Lodhi told that the BDS personnel are clearing the scene and a roadside block placed closed to the courier company's office is also being checked.
BDS officials fear that the block can possibly have explosive material, as witnessed earlier in some cases.
