Bloodshed looming if crisis not resolved: Rasheed

ISLAMABAD: Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed on Tuesday said he was anticipating bloodshed if the current [political] crisis was not resolved, ARY News reported.

Rasheed is part of a protest and long-march crusaded by Imran Khan and Dr. Tahirul Qadri against the government for 12 days and bent-on seeking resignation of the prime minister and removal of the PML-N led government.

The AML chief said those pursuing their personal interests were now siding with the government.

He has many a times blasted PM Nawaz Sharif and the incumbent regime for being ‘corrupt’ during his speeches in the sit-in outside Parliament House in Islamabad.

In his latest statement, Rasheed said he feared the bloodshed was looming if the crisis was not resolved.
