Bodies of six youths drown in Indus River recovered
HYDERABAD: Two more bodies of six Hindu boys drowned downstream Kotri Barrage, Indus River, were recovered in early hours of Sunday, ARY News reported.
The boys had reportedly left for Al Manzar, a popular picnic point in Jamshoro district downstream Kotri barrage, on Friday afternoon. Since that point, boys had gone missing.
Four bodies were earlier recovered from the river and sent to Liaqat Medical College for medico-legal formalities.
The dead were identified as 15-year-old Santoosh Kumar, son of Preetam Kumar; 14-year-old Kishore Kumar s/o Lal Chand; Santosh, 15, s/o Khem Chand; Prakash, s/o Mohan Lal; Suraj Kumar and Vishal.
