MULTAN: A locally made bomb was recovered from Multan Cantt, near Qasim Bela check post on Monday, which was defused immediately by the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) – ARY News reports.
According to details, unknown persons had planted a bomb near Qasim bella check post, Multan Cantt. The bomb was composed of petrol filled bottles, battery, antenna and other explosives.
A heavy contingent of police and security forces reached the site, whereas the BDS personnel defused the bomb immediately.
Police and security forces are still conducting an operation in the vicinity, in search of culprits. The ins and outs of the city are being monitored strictly and an investigation of the event is underway.
