Karachi is Pakistan’s most populous city and one that attracts tourists and job seekers from all over Pakistan. While many fret over the city’s various problems such as the dismal traffic congestion, the abysmal water and sewerage network as well as the overwhelming population. However, the British High Commissioner Designate to Pakistan Thomas Drew was particularly impressed with the metropolis.
His tweets would probably give you a more accurate picture of how he views the city:-
Rediscovering #Karachi – buzzing as the world’s 6th biggest city should. Bigger than Beijing, Mumbai or São Paulo. pic.twitter.com/Ogav0uLrIl

Drew also held important meetings with Sindh’s Governor Ishratul Ibad Khan and Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah.
Work in #Karachi too. Good meetings: CM, Governor and @GSK, but I confess a soft spot for Dosti’s footballing girls pic.twitter.com/JLIhWJcMAS
