British PM David Cameron lauds Pakistan role in War on Terror

LONDON: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday called on the British Prime Minister David Cameron during his visit to the United Kingdom, ARY News reported.

During the meeting, both heads of states exchanged their views on mutual interest affairs and agreed upon strengthening the bilateral cooperation.

They also discussed global and regional issues including the situation in Afghanistan and recent ceasefire violations by Indian forces across the Line of Control (LoC) and the Working Boundary.

PM David Cameron appreciated Pakistan’s important role and sacrifices in the fight against terror during the meeting.

He also praised Pakistan’s policy to maintain peaceful relations with neighboring states.
