PERTH: An out of control bull run amok outside parliament in Perth and the video of the unusual incident is going viral.

What was meant to be a harmless stunt to promote mental health initiative R U OK? Day and the Perth Royal Show quickly turned pear-shaped after bull named ‘Winston’, one of two cattle visiting parliament, slipped its handler and galloped off.

Winston seemed overwhelmed by the attention, crossing the road, scaling a fence, heading for parked cars before touring the grounds of Parliament House.

Luckily, Winston’s handlers managed to get him back under control.
The bovine’s companion Clementine managed to make a solo appearance but was clearly nervous.

The cow relieved itself on camera, prompting Agriculture Minister Alannah MacTiernan to say, “Clementine’s pissing it in!” according to the West Australian.

“I’m really pleased that Winston behaved just as we hoped he did and created a bit of excitement for the media – now that is a well-trained piece of cattle,” she said.

Winston’s handler Peter Milton said it was the steer’s first day out in public in three months and its first public appearance.

“I guess he got a bit embarrassed,” Mr Milton said.
