ISLAMABAD: Federal Cabinet in its meeti ng on Monday in principle approved the new security policy, ARY News reported.
The cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif also directed for constitution of more anti-terrorism courts.
Prime Minister Sharif in his address said that extraordinary steps are required to meet the extraordinary situation.
He called the recent incidents of terrorism as intolerable.
Speaking in the federal cabinet meeting‚ Sharif expressed his government's resolve to establish supremacy of law in the country at any cost. He said all state institutions will have to play their role to curb terrorism and hold criminals accountable.
