Canada lauds Pakistan’s inclusion among 10 most improved countries in World Bank report

ISLAMABAD: Canadian Minister for International Trade Francois-Philippe Champagne has lauded Pakistan’s inclusion in the global list of top 10 most improved countries in the Ease of Doing Business 2017 report by the World Bank.

The Canadian minister, in a letter to Pakistan High Commissioner Tariq Azeem, said that Pakistan’s inclusion is the direct result of country’s successful economic reforms.

He appreciated the contribution of the sizable Pakistani community in Canada to support bilateral relationship and in enriching Canadian society.

He expressed desire for further expansion of commercial ties with Pakistan which has already reached 1.44 billion dollars during last year. He also noted that Pakistani students are increasingly choosing Canada as an education destination.
