LAHORE: The First Information Report (FIR) of the murder of eight family members has been filed here in Lahore, ARY News reports on Wednesday.
The case was filed by a family member of the victims. The FIR copy has been received by ARY News.
On the other hand, post mortem of the victims' bodies had been started. According to the doctors, the procedure will be completed in the morning as the post mortem of only two persons can be done at the same time.
Eight members of a family were killed here in a house at Jauhar Town area on Tuesday. The deceased included three brothers, two women and three children.
The news of the murder had spread like wildfire in the city.
Law Enforcing Agencies (LEAs) had arrived in the house to start their investigation of the incident.
An initial investigation report, Nazeer, sibling of Zaheer and Shahid, is stated to be the main culprit behind the incident.
It was also stated that Nazeer had psychological issues and was suffering from cancer as well. He killed his family members and later committed suicide after taking large amount of sleeping pills.
A bottle of a chemical substance was also found near the bodies and was taken by the investigation team for the probe.
