Celebrities pay homage to late director Syed Atif Hussain

Eminent television director, Syed Atif Hussain has just passed away after suffering kidney failure. He had been on the ventilator at a hospital in Karachi.

Known for his exceptional direction and creating a light-hearted environment on the shoot, Hussain has given astoundingly surreal dramas to the Pakistani television industry. A few of his successful dramas include Maamta, Waada, Zindaan, and the ongoing Babban Khala Ki Betiyan amongst others.

Due to his gentle persona and the way he kept all his co-workers united, abundant celebrities are grief-stricken on his sad demise. Celebrities have taken to social media to shower blessings and express sorrow for the deceased.

Actor and host Faysal Quraishi speaks about his experience with the director at the start of his show Salam Zindagi with Faizan Shaikh who is currently an integral part of Babban Khala Ki Betiyan also.

Adnan Siddiqui has also penned down that he feels “deeply saddened to hear about the demise of Syed Atif Hussain.” He says Atif was one of the finest producer and director our industry had. “You’ll be remembered and missed. May your soul rest in peace and may Allah give strength to your family to bear the loss. Ameen,” he continues.

Sanam Baloch is also “sad and shocked to hear about the dismissal” of her mentor, friend and guide Atif Hussain. She had started her career under his guidance. “There are no words to express my sorrow. One of the kindest and extremely talented directors.” She prays his soul highest rank in heaven.
