Mawra Hocane to Mikal Zulfiqar, celebrities wish nation on Pakistan Day

The nation is observing Pakistan Day today with a renewed pledge to make Pakistan a developed and progressive country with a strong defence.

Just like the rest of us, our country’s television and film celebrities, models, and cricketers took to Instagram and Twitter to display their Pakistani pride on Pakistan Day.

Actress Mawra Hocane shared Ahmed Nadeem Qasmi’s ‘Khuda Karey Meri Arz-e-Pak Pe Utray” and revealed that growing up this was her favourite dua that ran every morning on PTV after the national anthem.

“My beautiful motherland may your prosper & blossom & shine & grow forever.. May we always work towards a better Pakistan. A very Happy Pakistan Day to all of you,” wrote Mawra.

Just got done with a 48 hours long non stop shoot. No sleep but high spirit,” Punjab Nahi Jaungi and Tich Button actress Urwa Hocane wrote while sharing her picture in a green and white outfit.

Mikaal Zulfiqar urged all to watch his latest movie Sherdil, a tribute to Pakistan Air Force as the makers are donating 20% of the movie’s earnings to martyrs’ fund.

“Wishing Pakistani all over the world a very happy #Pakistanday On defence day I salute the brave men and women of our armed forces. I have seen your dedication and love for your country and it is matched by none other #PakistanZindabad You can also show ur support for our forces by going to watch film #Sherdil a tribute to PAF pakistanairforce 20% of the film proceedings will be donated to the Shudha Fund.
