LONDON: South Africa were bowled out for 191 in 44.3 overs at The Oval in their match against South Africa.

Indian skipper Virat Kohli has won the toss and chose to bowl first at the crucial knockout game against South Africa. The winner of the India vs South Africa will take on Bangladesh in the semi-final.

South Africa’s Quinton de Cock was the highest scorer with 53 runs. Amla and du Plessis made 35 and 36 respectively. Out of form de Villiers was run out for 16. Duminy remained unbeaten on 20. The rest remained with the single digit mark.

Bumrah and Kumar took two wickets each, while Ashwin, Pandaya and Jadeja took one each.

India has replaced Umesh Yadav with Ravichandran Ashwin. The stakes are high in this match as a loss for either team will result in their elimination from the tournament.

South Africa will be determined to snap their winless record against India in this tournament while Virat Kohli’s side will be determined to avoid a slip-up as they look to seal a spot in the semi-final.

South African skipper AB de Villiers is not perturbed that South Africa are batting first. He said that the team achieved success in setting a target against Sri Lanka while Virat Kohli has said that he wants to continue the trend of chasing well.

India have lost both the tosses in the Champions Trophy 2017 and have had mixed results.
