Change in system can’t be attained from existing parliament: Dr. Qadri

Addressing to PAT supporters in Islamabad, Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri asked people to submit funds at offices of Minhaj-ul-Quran located in different cities. He welcomed all those who have come from abroad to join the sit-in.

“Many people want to give aid to the participants of ‘Inqilab March’ but they are afraid to come to Islamabad”, he said.

PAT Chief said their struggle is not undemocratic adding that PAT’s movement is not for any particular sect rather it’s for the billions of people belonging to different cast and creed.

He added that PAT is not only fighting a war for the rights of Muslims but also for minorities.

Dr. Qadri said that current parliament cannot bring the most needed change in the system. He also denied the presence of democracy in the country.

“Existing assemblies comprises of looters and feudal, I want to see a common man as the representative of parliament and for the cause I am ready to sacrifice my life”, Dr. Qadri added.

He said democracy ensures equality and justice without any sort of discrimination. He said that people of Pakistan have become aware about the lies and mockery of rulers.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said bringing economical democracy is mandatory prior to political democracy.
