Charsadda blast kills at least three

CHARSADDA: At least three people were killed and 31 others, including 11 cops, were wounded in a remote controlled blast on a police mobile at Charsadda's Naushera Road on Tuesday (today), ARY News reports.

The wounded included several women and children.

Four kilograms of explosive materials were used to carry out the blast. According to SHO Ameer Nawaz, the police mobile was headed towards a court when the incident took place.

The police mobile was completely destroyed by the explosion.

The wounded persons were shifted to local hospitals of the city whereas the severely injured were rushed to Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar where some of them are said to be in critical condition.
