Chaudhry Aslam's martyrdom is a national tragedy: Imran Khan

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief, Imran Khan has termed the martyrdom of SP Crime Investigation Department (CID) Chaudhry Aslam as a national tragedy. He added that there is nothing like law and order in the country – ARY News reports.

Talking to media here on Thursday, Imran Khan said that operation each time has increased number of Taliban groups and if negotiations were held with the willing factions of militants, then a clear decrease in terrorism would have been witnessed.

He stated that if Molana Sami ul Haq negotiates with Taliban, he would be supported in this.

Commenting on the trial of General (R) Pervez Musharraf, the PTI Chairman said that he does not what would be done to the former President, however one thing is clear that the law has never been a problem for powerful and influential people.

He added that those who have laundered billions to foreign countries are not inquired, whereas a patwari is surely held accountable for his misdeeds.
