Chaudhry Nisar chairs security meeting  

ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has instructed the district and police administration to keep the security of Islamabad and Rawalpindi on high alert to curb any unforeseen incident in context of Zarb-e-Azb operation in North Waziristan, ARY News reports.

The statement was made by Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan as he was presiding a meeting of police and district administration.

Federal Interior Minister also said that security agencies have to work more than their duty requirements and have to be more responsible to curb any unforeseen incident in the twin cities in reaction to the military offensive in North Waziristan tribal area.

“We need cooperation between the security administration of the two cities so that any unforeseen situation can be curbed”, Nisar said. He instructed the police force to increase their efficiency with the latest weapons and physical training.

Chaudhry Nisar also said that the strict security should be kept in key areas of Islamabad and the patrolling teams should keep monitoring the areas.
