According to Interior Ministry spokesman, Chaudhry Nisar will chair a key law and order meeting on his visit. He will also discuss the overall security situation of the city with law enforcement officials with focus on recent Safoora Chowrangi incident in which 47 people of Ismaili community were killed in a gun attack on Wednesday, May 13.
The ongoing targeted operations in Karachi will also be talked upon.
The spokesman also said that the interior minister will meet Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Governor Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ibad Khan.
He will also preside a meeting at Rangers Headquarters and then meet Ismaili committee notables to express his condolence over the killing of 47 members of the community in the city last week.
