RAWALPINDI: Federal Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Chief Minister Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif met the Army Chief, General Raheel Sharif here on Wednesday – ARY News reports.
According to details, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Shahbaz Sharif met the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) here at the Army House.
Both the leaders exchanged their views with General Raheel Sharif pertaining to the law and order situation of the country and security affairs.
Later, the Army Chief visited the Tilla Ranges, where he observed the joint exercises of the Pakistan Army and Pakistan Air Force (PAF).
On this occasion, General Raheel Sharif urged the armed forces of Pakistan to improve its professional capabilities in order to return every threat effectively.
He also urged for utilizing all resources for bringing betterment in defence capabilities of the forces.
Moreover, the COAS stated that exemplary training and maintaining the professional standards are surety for durable peace in the state.
