ISLAMABAD: Chaudhry Qamar Zaman assumed charge as the Chairman of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) today after being cleared of all charges in the National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) corruption scandal, ARY News reports.
Earlier, the Supreme Court of Pakistan had ordered investigation against the NAB Chairman. No evidences were found against the suspect during the investigation and cleared him of all charges.
Chairman NAB has assumed the charge today and has asked the details of the cases that are still pending.
