Benedict Cumberbatch is a famous British actor who stars in the critically acclaimed television show Sherlock. He has also voiced the dragon Smaug from the movie series Hobbit. The task wasn’t attained easily though. It took a crew of 8 to put in a hectic 250 hours into sculpting the British actor. And here’s another fact; more than 40 kilograms of chocolate were used in the process. The chocolatiers decided to honor the Sherlock in the wake of a British online poll conducted which labelled him as the most ‘Dishiest TV drama actor’.
The striking thing about Benedict is that he’s got quite a thin face but he has got quite a large head,” said chocolate sculptor Tim Simpson in a video on the making of the creation.
“So, trying to get that look right is quite tricky.”
