Child’s death: Relatives block GT Road against ‘negligent’ doctors

RAWALPINDI: A child died on Wednesday at a private hospital in Rawalpindi allegedly due to the negligence of doctors, triggering protest by the family of the deceased.

As per details, the infuriated relatives of the minor accused the doctors on duty of negligence and ransacked the hospital. They also manhandled the staff, resulting in injuries to five people.

The protesters then took to the GT Road, blocking it by placing the child’s body and setting fire to tyres.

The enraged protesters were demanded registration of a murder case against the doctors of the hospital over their alleged negligence.

The mother of the deceased, appealed to Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar to take notice of the incident and bring those responsible for her child’s death to justice.

The protesters said they will continue their demonstration until a case is not lodged against the medics.
