KARACHI: A child servant jumped from a Clifton aprtment out of fear of beating was rushed to a Karachi hospital with serious multiple injuries, ARY News reported on Wednesday.
The child with serious head injury was brought to hospital by a passerby.
Police has detained the child's employer Dr. Munir.
The employer informed the police that he had drawn Rs. four lac from bank two days ago, which were stolen from his home. He said he had inquired his child employee about the stolen money.
The case will be registered after arrival of the parents of the injured child to Karachi, police sources said.
According to police the traumatized child was not able to communicate due to his precarious condition.
The police is waiting for the child to recover enough to record his statement, said a police official.
The police have taken the employer into custody for questioning.
Governor of Sindh has taken notice of the incident and directed the police to submit its report on the incident.
