MITHI: Four more persons died in drought-hit Tharparkar district of Sindh, ARY News reported on Friday. 

According to reports, a four-year child and three women died in Mithi, the main town of the eastern desert district, which has been stricken by severe drought where shortage of food said to be one of the causes of deaths. 

In recent days after media reports about deaths of children and women in hospitals Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had paid visit of Thar region and announced Rs. one billion for the victims of drought. 

The people of the vast desert region still suffering from hunger and disease as the announced ration supplies and other essential items yet to reach the most areas of the desert.
