ISLAMABAD: Chinese Defence Minister, Chang Wanquan has met the Defence Minister, Khwaja Asif and the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Raheel Sharif and discussed affairs of mutual interest with them – ARY News reports.
During the meet, Chang Wanquan said that Pakistan and China share hold similar stance pertaining to different matters and the cooperation between both the states on international and regional issues is exemplary.
Defence Minister, Khwaja Asif said that Pakistan fully supports Taiwan, Tibet, Xinjiang human rights and One-China policies, whereas the collaboration between both the friendly states is extending further in defence and other fields.
Meanwhile, the Chinese Defence Minister, Chang Wanquan met the Pak-Army Chief, General Raheel Sharif and exchanged views with him on mutual interest affairs, regional security and bilateral defence cooperation.
He also placed a flower wreath on the martyrs' monument at the General Head Quarters (GHQ) and paid a tribute to them.
