Chinese President 2-day historic visit to Pakistan ends
Chinese delegation left Pakistan from Nur Khan Air Base where Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, Federal Ministers and Services Chiefs were present to see Xi Jinping off.
President Xi will travel to Indonesia for an Asian-African summit.
Chinese President conferred with Nishan-e-Pakistan

The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Federal Ministers, Members of National Assembly and Senate, Services Chiefs and Chinese delegation.
Joint Parliament Session
The joint parliament session commenced in Islamabad today with Speaker Ayaz Sadiq in the chair. The session started with the singing of national anthem of China and Pakistan followed by the recitation of Holy Quran.

Addressing to the parliament, Speaker Ayaz Sadiq warmly welcomed Chinese delegation to Pakistan with the bundle of thanks for their support in the fight against terrorism and economic revival.
The speaker said China is most reliable friend of Pakistan. He termed Chinese President Xi Jinping as the most respectable guest for Pakistan.
“Chinese President’s visit to Pakistan is just like a brother coming to the country”, he added.
Ayaz Sadiq concluded his address by quoting a Chinese proverb on friendship, “Books speak to the mind, friends to the heart, heaven to the soul, all else to the ears.”
Earlier, Chinese President arrived at the Parliament along with his squad amid tight security. He was welcomed to the parliament by the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, NA Speaker Ayaz Sadiq and Chairman Senate Mian Raza Rabbani.
The first lady of China Peng Liyuan and the first lady of Pakistan Begum Kulsoom Nawaz also arrived at the parliament.

President of China Xi Jinping while initiating the address said he feels honor to address parliament of Pakistan and thanked leadership of Pakistan for this kind invitation.
Speaking to the members of Parliament, Xi Jinping extended best wishes to Pakistan for desired results from the agreements signed between the two countries.
He expressed the confidence that Pakistan will be successful in overcoming all challenges it is facing with the cooperation of China.
Chinese president greatly appreciated Pakistan for their hospitality by saying that “Me and my delegation have been overwhelmed with the warm welcome and generosity extended to us by Pakistan.
Chinese president praised people of Pakistan by saying that “nation of Pakistan is kind, brave and courageous”. He said Pakistan’s sacrifices in the fight against terrorism are exemplary.
He also invited victims of Army Public School Peshawar that survived Taliban attack, to visit China.
Highlighting the strong bond of friendship between the two countries, Xi Jinping said China and Pakistan have been of remarkable support to one another adding that both countries have stood by each other in hour of need.
Acknowledging Pakistan’s support to China, he said Pakistan is one of the first countries which recognized China and it was the first Islamic country to develop diplomatic relations with Beijing.
“Pakistan’s selfless and valuable support to China in difficult time is remarkable”, said Xi Jinping.
“Our friendship is so unique that we have always supported each other on major issues”, he added.
President of China said that both the countries always move together on all regional and international issues.
“People of China have great respect for Pakistanis and they have very good wishes for the development and progress of Pakistan”, said Xi Jinping.
“Our friendship is great asset for the future generations as both the countries are knotted in deep bonds of culture and civilizations”, he added.
Chinese President told that Pakistan is the first foreign country he is visiting this year.

On the occasion, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif expressed his gratefulness to the Chinese president and his delegation for their visit to Pakistan.
“Mr. Xi Jinping is our friend and guest and we always feel great whenever afar friend visits us”, he added.
“We are not just friend but like real brothers”, he added.
PM Nawaz said Pakistan considers China’s sovereignty and security as its own and vowed to continue supporting Beijing on all fronts.
He thanked support extended by China to overcome power shortage.
Speaking about China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, Nawaz Sharif said it is the result of efforts by both countries and it reflects strong bilateral relations between two countries.
