With the shimmery start of New Year first stellar award function of 2015, the 21st Lions Gold Award was organized in Mumbai on 6th January 2015. Many top stars of bollywood embraced the red carpet and the beautiful evening with their presence.
Chopra clan stole the show as the big sister and leading Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra bagged the Best Actor Female Award for her outstanding performance in Mary Kom. Not only this the director of the film Omung Kumar, who did his debut with ‘Mary Kom ‘also took away the Best Director Award. Priyanka’s younger cousin and new starlet of Bollywood Mannara Handa got her first award of the most promising Debutant female for her film ‘Zid’.
Kangana Ranaut’s female centric film Queen also won the show. When it comes to guys then all praises were for junior Bachchan who got the Best Male Actor in Leading Role award for his stellar performance in Happy New Year.
Besides these big fire crackers the new heartthrob of bollywood Varun Dhawan bagged the Youth Icon of the Year Award and Jackie Shroff’s son Tiger Shroff also won the best debutant male award for winning hearts in ‘Heropanti’.
