GUJRANWALA: Citizens caught on Wedneday a drunken policeman red-handed while he was collecting extortion and subjected him to severe torture, ARY News reported.
The officer was attired in plain-clothed dress and was demanding extortion from citizens on gun point. The denizens reacted in unison, collared him and tore his cloths before assualting him badly.
The accused cop tried to escape, but in vain. He was handed over to the police team after severe torture. Citizens were so raged that they even beat him up in the police van.
