Civil disobedience costs Imran his electricity connection

TOP NEWS

The government seems to have tightened its muscles over civil disobedience call by the PTI chief and launched actions against ‘instigators of anti-government movement’.

Sources told that three connections to Imran’s residence had been disconnected. Two of the connections were meant for residence while the third one was being used for tube well.

Imran had called upon his supporters to stop paying their power and water bills in protest against the government and its below-par governance. The PTI chief vowed to continue civil disobedience movement until Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif resigned from his post.
