CJ ask to nominate five HC Judges to hear Musharraf treason case

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan has accepted a request of the government for formation of a special court to try former President Gen. Rtd. Pervez Musharraf under article-6, ARY News reported.

Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudary has issued an order to the four high courts of provinces for nomination of a judge each, from which the Chief Justice will constitue a court of three judges for initiating proceedings against former President Musharraf under treason charges.
