CJ Tassaduq Hussain takes suo motu notice of 12-year old girl’s rape
LAHORE: Chief Justice of Pakistan Tassaduq Hussain Jillani on Saturday took suo motu notice of 12-year old girl’s rape in Karachi, ordering I.G Sindh to submit report of the incident within 48 hours, ARY News reported.
CJ Tassaduq Hussain Jillani has also taken the notice of the non-arrest of those who raped the five-year-old girl 'Sumbul' in Lahore on September 13 and summoned IG Punjab on December 24.
The victim was raped and left outside Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Lahore. To date, police have neither identified nor arrested the culprits. Tomorrow will mark the 100th day of justice denied.
While speaking during the meeting with authorities of Lahore High Court on Saturday Tassaduq Hussain Jillani said that good relations between bar and bench ensures justice to the people as without having understanding between the two provision of justice is not possible.
