ISLAMABAD: Outgoing Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry will chair the meeting of National Judicial Policy Makers Committee for the last time here on Tuesday, ARY News reports.
According to sources, the committee will review the issues of presenting challans on time, suspect investigation, present situation of cheques dishonorment and to fulfill the vacancies on the position of Judicial Officers.
In the meeting, the CJ Federal Shariat Court Justice Agha Rafeeq Ahmad, CJ Balochistan High Court (BHC) Qazi Faiz Issa, CJ Sindh High Court (SHC) Justice Maqbool Baqir, CJ Peshawar High Court (PHC) Justice Dost Muhaammad Khan, CJ Lahore High Court (LHC) Umar Atta Bandyal will be present.
The committee will also discuss the distribution of funds to the District Courts of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.
CJP will also inaugurate the Model Jail in the city as well.
