Clearance issue: Sheikh Rasheed barred from travelling Canada
ISLAMABAD: Chief of Awami Muslim League (AML) and member National Assembly Sheikh Rasheed was barred on late Thursday night at the airport from travelling abroad due to non-issuance of clearance by the authorities, ARY News reported.
Rasheed was due to fly Canada via flight PK-718, but he was offloaded shortly at Benazir International Airport, Islamabad by the immigration officials due to non-issuance of clearance.
The AML chief was scheduled to address a rally in Canada on March 23.
Sheikh Rasheed strongly criticized the government for barring him travelling abroad.
