CM Khattak demands PEMRA action against Geo TV
PESHAWAR: Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Pervez Khattak has condemned the Geo TV morning show and demanded for an action against Geo TV by Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) – ARY News reports.
He was talking to media on the occasion of a ceremony held in honor of Pakistani Street Children Football team at the CM House, Peshawar.
Pervez Khattak criticized Geo TV, saying that it wishes to dominate the entire country, first the media group maligned Pakistan Army and ISI, and now a blasphemous program was aired on it, that hurt the sentiments of billions of Muslims.
He said that his party strongly condemns the act of Geo TV morning show, UTHO JAGO PAKISTAN.
The Chief Minister said that today the people of Pakistan are standing by national institutions and will raise their full voice for safeguarding the foundations of the state.
