Pervaiz Khatak recorded protest against unannounced load shedding of electricity in front of Lahore WAPDA House today.

The Minister alleged federal government for doing unjust to KPK province by saying that KPK is suffering the torment of load shedding and is not being provided with its rights.

“Giving only 1300 to 1400 Mega Watt of electricity instead of 2000 MW is tantamount to cruelty”, he said.

He gave ultimatum of one week to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for the issuance of Rs.3 billion.

On the occasion, he invited the nation to participate in long march on August 14 and predicted to overthrow government.

Huge number of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf’s (PTI) workers participated in protest.

This is the first time in the country’s history that any Chief Minister participated in the protest demonstration.
