CM Murad Ali Shah summons meeting on law and order

KARACHI: Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah has summoned a meeting to discuss the law and order situation in province after Tuesday’s murder of former MQM parliamentarian Ali Raza Abidi.

The meeting today will overview the law and order and security situation.

Chief Secretary of Sindh, Director General Rangers, I.G. Police and top officials of other law enforcement agencies and departments will attend the meeting.

Chief Minister Shah has said that the meeting will overview the situation of security and will devise a strategy to step up the targeted operation against criminals.

Shah, talking to media said that some target killers and operatives of mafias want to deteriorate the law and order situation of Karachi. “No one will be allowed to destroy the peace of the city,” the chief minister said.

“We will not allow them to do so,” said CM Murad Ali Shah.

Former president Asif Ali Zardari has also urged the Sindh government to expose the conspirators behind incident of high profile murder.
