CNG License Case: Sadiq's lawyer confesses of providing unlawful license

ISLAMABAD: Lawyer of former Chairman Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) Tauqeer Sadiq confessed that his client provided unlawful licenses of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Stations here on Friday, ARY News reports.

A three member bench headed by Justice Jawwad S. Khwaja heard the CNG License Case in the Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan today. A report was submitted in the apex today about the CNG licenses by the lawyer representing OGRA. The judge said that the CNG stations should be categorized.

Defence Counsel Iftikhar Gillani informed the court that Tauqeer Sadiq had issued certain licenses in violation of law.

The court adjourned the hearing of CNG License Case till 27th February.
