ISLAMABAD: A 3 member bench of the Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan, headed by the Chief Justice (CJ) Tassaduq Hussain Jillani resumed the hearing of CNG Licenses Case here on Wednesday, during which the Attorney General presented detailed report of the issuance of licenses – ARY News reports.
The counsel of the CNG Association of Pakistan, stated before the court that more than 250 licenses were issued by the Government, despite of a ban. He added that these licenses were issued during the reign of the outgoing Prime Minister and were based upon political affiliations.
At this, the CJ said that the proceedings of the case will be taken forth, after analyzing the report in detail.
Moreover, the SC adjourned the hearing till April 16.
