RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Raheel Sharif has said that Pakistan Army holds superior training and professional expertise as its specialties for the defence and the Armed Forces of Pakistan are all time ready to cope with the challenges faced by the country – ARY News reports.
According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the statement was made on the occasion of Army Chief, General Raheel Sharif's visit to the Gujranwala Garrison on Saturday. Corps Commander Mangla, Lieutenant General Tariq Khan welcomed the COAS.
On this eve, General Raheel Sharif addressed the officials and troops of the Armed Division. He stated that the Armed Formation has played a key role in the defence of the country and we pay a tribute to the martyrs who laid their lives for the homeland.
The COAS said that Pakistan Army holds superior training and professional expertise as its specialties for the defence and the Armed Forces of Pakistan are all time ready to cope with the challenges faced by the country.
