According to ISPR, the COAS was briefed by army officials on operation ‘Zarb-e-Azb’ against militants in the NWA. Core Commander Khalid Rabbani also accompanied General Sharif.
The chief of army staff expressed satisfaction on the progress of operation. He praised the morale of army officers and nation in fight against militants.
He reiterated his resolve to crushing terrorists. Pakistan Army will defeat terrorists to the core, said the COAS in his meeting with army personnel.
General Sharif said operation would continue until complete elimination of terrorists from the area. All sanctuaries/hideouts of militants – foreign and local – will be demolished, he added.
We, he said, would go after terrorists until all of them were eliminated.
