RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif has left for South Waziristan on Tuesday where he will inspect field formation, ARY News reports.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), General Raheel Sharif will be briefed about the ongoing operations against terrorists in South Waziristan during the visit.
He will also be informed about the operational affairs and the development work by the military in the tribal area.
The Army Chief will also motivate the soldiers who are taking part in the anti-terrorist operations.
