KARACHI: Cold and frosty weather rules Pakistan from Karachi to Khyber and Bolan to Baltistan, according to ARY News.

Skardu remained the coldest place in the country on Tuesday with mercury went down to -12, while minus eight degree Celsius recorded at Kalat in Balochistan. The plains of Punjab and Sindh suffering from dense foggy conditions.

Temperature in Lahore also dropped to four degree Celsius, while windy weather in Karachi pushed the temperature down to 10 degree centigrade.

Pakistan Met Department (PMD) has forecast cold and dry weather in the port city on Wednesday *(today) with minimum temperature 11 degree Celsius.

The mercury had dropped to a record low in Karachi on Monday, which according to the met office was this year’s coldest day in the metropolis. Karachi’s temperature was recorded at 10 degree Celsius on Monday.

The temperature is expected to drop further in coming days as frosty winds blowing from the South-west continue to hit the city.

The people of Kalat in Balochistan apart of extreme cold and frosty weather also suffering from low gas pressure and long hours of power load shedding.
